Please note that we cannot ship complete arrangements. Due to shipping breakage, we will ship the flowers and vase un-arranged. At your request, we can pre-cut the stems to fit your vase. Instructions for assembling your arrangement are as follows:

Begin by placing a plastic bag in the vase (if one of our wooden vases) to separate the sand from the vase. Sand will not be provided by D & M Wooden Flowers & Vases. If you would like to use decorative marbles or rocks, this will work as well. The sand will hold the position of the flowers very well.

Next you will need pruning shears to trim the stems to fit the pot or to layer the flowers in the vase (Ratchet pruners or by-pass pruners work the best).

After you have placed the flowers in the vase or pot, you will need to care for your new piece of art. Use either a feather duster or a small paint brush to clean the flowers. Compressed air also works well. Also, once every 2-3 months, you will need to use lemon oil on our wooden vases to condition the wood. These few techniques will help keep your wooden flower arrangement very fresh & clean for many, many years.
